[java] The coolest Java applet I have yet seen!

I usually don''t post other peoples work, but this is special. Try out the game at www.runescape.com
It is a massive multiuser on-line game written in 100% Java run in an applet. It is in 3D.
I am not too impressed with its contents compared to other non-Java games, but it an impressive technical feat to achive what they have done in a 100% pure Java applet.

PS: check out the screen shots of my own game at my site. They are turning out pretty good I would say. (And that is not pure Java)
You''re right this is a rather impressive technical feat! I don''t know, I liked Burning Metal 3D, but this was a cool game as well. Well folks, there you have it, proof that something cool in Java can be done

Since it runs in a browser without plugins it is Java 1.1
Java 1.2 and above is not supported by current browsers. Java 1.1 is supported by netscape 4.5 and above and Internet explorer 4.0 and above. So people, remember: Swing is not possible if you want people to use your applets without downloading a plug-in.
