I don't think this guy has put much thought into what it is about kittens that makes people love them. I don't think it's because they are small, I think it's because they are curious and playful - qualities that eventually they will grow out of even if their bodies don't grow. It's probably too much to ask this guy to get his head examined, so in the meantime, let's call him Dr. Frankenstein and his fantasy abmoninations, Frankenkitties.

Right. BTW, baby tigers or lions are cute too, even though they're significantly larger than adult cats. As classic saying goes, it's not size that matters...

I'd imagine the difference between frankenkitten and kitten is as between adult dwarf or pigmy and child. Or as between large adult cat and baby tiger.

Why are we so focused on permanent kittens? Science could be solving a much more important problem: producing delicious kittens.

I once had a summer job scanning in photos for a database of every possible human genetic defect. I can tell you that, at least for humans, there is a gene defect that can make babies be born "inside-out". The end result is... not cute. Not cute at all.

I really didn't need to know that.

I mean, I REALLY didn't need to know that...
