Maybe it is a newbie question... I'm looking to develop a 3D game with Java in a relatively short period of time. I'm wondering if I should use Java3D or OpenGL for Java (http://www.jausoft.com/gl4java/). I think gl4java has a better performance, but I'm not sure. If so, is it significant?
Any input is appreciated.
edit: Is there any other APIs out there worth a look?
