I am wanting to make a music teaching program, I would really like to steer clear of C++ and develop it in C# or visual basic. Does .net have midi functionality? I can't seem to find any information on it.Or a simple to use library would be just as good. Thanks

Searching for C# midi input (which is what I assume you're interested in) turns up a number of promising results.
