Welcome everyone to the Console/PDA forum. I will be the moderator for this forum. All discussions related to Consoles and Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) are welcome. To start things off, I think it would be great if everyone posted their console/PDA experiences here to get things started. I''ll go first: I am 20 and interning at a game company developing for the XBox. Last summer I had to opportunity to work on low-level PS2 programming. Mike

Hi,

I''m 23, I''m a partner in a startup company (Darkhex) and we are licensed for PSone and GBA. I''m also currently considering a job with a Gamecube dev team.

Slow forum, huh ? I''m 23 as well and have no experience with consoles yet, but I''m an old hand at C++, well into my game development education and getting ready to do a little hobby-coding on the Dreamcast.

Umm... I guess I''ll post here...

I''m only 17, but quite interested in console programming. Specifically, I recently looked into what it would take to write gba games, and have decided I could easily write an rpg on it, that would be as good of quality as "professional" companies. I''m now just waiting for a way to get a free (or near free) gba dev kit and license.... So I guess don''t expect to see my games on gba any time soon... I''m also interested in figuring out how to make hobby psone games, that I could burn on a cd and play on a playstation.

26, and I only do game development as a hobby, but I have developed several WinCE and PalmOS apps for my current employer. I''m very excited about the idea of working on some PDA games that utilise IR comms to network several players!
