Just starting games programming, I know the basic of C++. Which book should I choose, I want one that will teach me loads about how to write games.

Go here for the complete low down on books. Or it's also teh link at the top of every page that says "Books & Software"
I've heard a lot of good things about Tricks of the windows game programming gurus.

Make sure you have a good grasp on c++. I don't know how much you mean by the basics, but you need a good understanding of c/c++ before you tackle games, otherwise you may have some problems.

I''ve read most of Sams Teach Yourself C++ In 21 Days

And I now want to move on to games programming, am I ready yet?
