I''m trying to create a random landscape generator using GL_QUADS but it''s almost impossible (or get''s very ugly)so i decided to look at GL_POINTS, but I can''t get it to work...can someone please help me?

If you mean a height map generator, then do a search around the net for particle deposition, fault-line formation, and midpoint displacement. Those should help you out... A lot

If there''s is someone ouu there who''s got a URL to some newbie-Heightmaps tutorials, so please post them here..
The only thing I''ve found is the theoretical stuff, no code examples
