I've been working on a free-time project (you can check it out at cerebrumsoftware.com), and I'm having trouble integrating some features that I'd like into my d3d .x files.

Specifically, I'm having problems with lighting and setting cameras from within the .x file under DX3's implementation of D3D. Does anybody know if this is even possible?

Also, does anybody know of a good source for specifications on what .x files can handle? I haven't been able to find anything, so I'm kind of shooting from the hip as far as textures, animation, frames, bones, etc.

Thanks,

Bill
