I wish to create a project using 2d graphics in openGl I have mainly just seen 3d realted stuff what can I do in 2d besides loading textures, drawing polygons and quads. thankyou from Nicholas p.s Where can I get information on the commands contained within the vc++ open gl libraries

i doubt very much that you''ll want to use opengl''s blitting functions. stick with ogl''s 3d features, and just ignore the z value. use ortho mode for a 2d game.

check out the code and demo on my site to see how to set it up. you''ll want to just texture map quads on the screen. it''s really not that hard if you set everything up right.
