The far right wing has been going on and on with covert bigotry for a long time now, and so this is nothing new.I don't think that's because being far-right makes one a bigot. It's the other way around: bigots find that right-wing positions (that promote individual judgement) are more supportive of their desire to make unpopular judgements than left-wing positions. (In the instances where the right-wing positions *don't* promote individual judgement - for example, outlawing gay marriage - it just so happens that the positions tend to agree with the way the bigots are usually bigoted).

So please don't try to marginalize Alpha (even if he's a treehugger, haha, I kid, I kid), because in reality, only a very tiny fraction of the billions of people in this world willingly accept this right wing type of behaviour -- my guess is like, maybe 100 million people or so, at the very maximum.In July 2009, the population of Alabama was around 4.7 million, so they're covered twentyfold. Just how many other people do you think the opinions of the governor of Alabama make a material difference to?
