Really important question I could use help on with game development.

I know I am only feeding the immature troll, but here is my two cents.

If you ask if it's possible, you never took the time to think out ways of how some of the games functions may have been created.
As a programmer, beginner or expert, you constantly think about every day applications that you use and ask yourself how they work. If you're a clever programmer, you will most likely know exactly how a feature was or should be programmed.

Short answer, it's very possible to recreate Final Fantasy 7 with whatever programming language and tools you use. It's possible for you to create any type of game, no matter how old it's concept is. The only limit you face is your own limitations.

Well, maybe I'm a 60 year old lady with a dry unused vagina, but these kids of these times are so beyond my understanding. To me, fake personalities, living on the cyber-space and "sharing" every shit in 5 minutes with their 300 ""friends"" is plain sick, I mean in a clinical sense. I absolutely agree with freedom/free sex/free everything (I'm happy that the 14 year old BB is fucked every day, probably by random guys) but these kids totally seem to not get the point of the whole thing (perhaps due to the natural immaturity, responsibility of parents/internet/society is another tough question) :

Everything is possible but everything has its prize. Sure, use your vagina at the age of 10 with anyone you feel like, but don't get surprised if you get pregnant/die in AIDS/no one will trust you. And sure, be a troll, act like a troll, but don't get surprised if you will never ever make that game and will be banned from everywhere, no-one (who could otherwise be the biggest help) will give a shit about you etc. Sure, you can make FF7 even with machine code, but don't get surprised if it will take 10 years or more.

You live in your bubble worlds where your parents and society will protect you from the consequence of this ignorance.
I wonder what will happen when these kids grow up and the bubble pops and they get real hard slaps in their faces from the real world. Maybe mass suicide?
Andy, assuming you're actually a kid: please take the URLs for your blogs, youtube accounts and forum profiles, and give them to your parents, teachers and/or counsellors, so that they can get you the help that you desperately need.

If you're not really a kid, please take those URLs to the police instead.

Meh. Kids are idiots, it's more or less a rule. Some grow out of it eventually, others don't. Trolling on the internet is just the prank phone call of the era.

I don't think that anyone who posted in this thread to help felt that this guy was ever going to finish any programming project of consequence. Even so, I didn't feel that I was definitely wasting my time, because maybe someday someone will dig this thread up and find something useful from a post that took me 2 minutes to write, tops.

Andy's an idiot and a tw*t, but that's pretty normal for a 13 year old. Even if he's never going to get over that phase, don't get too worked up chiding him now. Reality is going to b*tch slap him pretty hard soon enough (people 25 and younger today do not have a particularly inspiring or opporunity/success filled future to look forward to at present).

Okay, so can anyone help me on how to exactly load an image file to the window? Or a .x file? Preferably both would help... Thanks.

A bit more specifics would be much better.
This is getting pretty inappropriate, I think we're done here.
