Dare ProtoPlay is the culmination of 9 weeks game development by the 15 student teams taking part in the annual video games development competition Dare to be Digital. As well as getting to play their games (this year developed for kinect, iPad, phone and PC), there are a range of other activites taking place alongside it, including:
- Pro-gamer tournament
- Game jam
- Talks
- Workshops
- Developer showcase
There will also be a games fair in the city square, including fun and innovative video games related programmes. Entry is free.
