Database of faqs?

I recently ran across a program called d-tnt (d-tnt.co.uk) which is a database of tips etc for Delphi. Not only is it online, but you can also download a program which will run on your computer and give you access to them. It automaticaly updates itself to get the latest tips. That''s not a very good description, but it''s a very useful program. I''ve only heard good stuff about it, and from my own use it''s a very good idea. My question is, since so many people have the same gl problems, or the same questions etc, would combining all these into a similar program be a good idea? There are lots of tutorials, faqs, etc on the net, but none of them are really complete... ?? just a thought. Anyone got any comments?

I started trying this but it never took off.

The interface is a bit scratchy but if I get some more interest I''ll enhance it. I had exactly the same idea as you (downloadable versions, etc).

If someone thinks it is a really good idea, feel free to offer me access to a server where I can install Resin or Tomcat and write some Java code instead of <shudder> ASP </shudder> Preferably Linux for all those rushing out to set it up :D

But if you are interested, sign up and contribute some questions, and provide some feedback. It''d be much appreciated by many, most of all myself.

lmao, I thought the q was a g.... lol
I couldn''t find it on your site (I found naormal faqs of course, but nothing other than that), but I didn''t really have time to look for very long.
I really like the idea of making something like this, so I think in about two months time (after exams) I''ll start. Perhaps you could donate some of your answered faq questions
What sort of thing should it contain? Should the downloadable version be runnable only on Windows (which is fine for me, from the writing point of view) and perhaps Linux? I have no experience developing apps for the mac
Ideas, ideas... since nothing like this exists for OpenGL, I''d like to make it. I like the idea of making something useful like this
