I''m making a Tile-based engine like Zelda or Final Fantasy, and I want to make a scripting system for the engine so I can have ingame "cinematics". Just something simple where if the player steps on a certain tile it triggers a script. The scripts would do stuff like move NPCs and give dialog... does anyone know the best way to implement this?!
