Hello fellow developer! I decided to offer for free some graphics which I intended to use for a flash Tower Defense game, but never got the chance to finish it. The package includes:

- 1 background
- 7 turrets (cannon + support)
- 3 creeps + 1 boss
- tilesets for the platform

Download the package here: .
If the game would have been completed, it would have look something like this:

I wanted to add more creeps and different platforms later on, after seeing the gameplay in action. More details on how to use these graphics on my website.

PS. Please do not email me to ask for additional graphics (such as fire or turret icons) to finish your game. How you deal with what you've got is up to you. ;)

I made a small update to the graphics package: the enemies are now animated and come in three more colors; not just in green like before. Make sure you go to HireFreelanceArtist.com and download the ZIP file again. I hope you'll find these new additions useful. smile.png

Hi.

I'm not in need of that sort of graphics atm but I just wanted to say that it's really nice of you to offer it like this.

For us that can't do our own graphics it's really hard to find! :)
Thanks, it's always good to see people sharing work for others.

Have you considered using a "standard" Free licence, e.g., Creative Commons BY ( http://creativecommo...icenses/by/3.0/ ) or any of the other Creative Commons ones?

(Whilst your terms may seem plain and simple, copyright can get surprisingly complex in grey areas - using a standard licence makes it much easier for games using it to be distributed through various systems, e.g., Linux repositories; or there are questions such as derivative works.)

1, 3, 5 would be covered by Creative Commons BY. Rule 4 is probably the difficult one - can I ask why this is important to you? It would mean the graphics couldn't be put on a place such as opengameart.org , meaning less awareness for your work. It would mean the graphics are lost to the public if say in 5-10 years' time your webhost is down. Note that if someone did post the graphics, they would still have to credit you and link back to your site. Rule 2 you could probably get anyway just by asking.

(Apologies for nitpicking - but it's a shame for someone to put so much work into good graphics like this, and for someone to have a game to use them, but they don't get used because of licensing issues.)

@Alan: Thanks for the kind words although you don't plan on using the graphics anytime soon.

@mdwh: Thank you for your suggestion. I added a Creative Commons badge at the end of the page, as suggested. I am not familiar with copyright issues, so if you think there is something else I need to do to "play it safe," just let me know.
