Has anyone faced a situation on gaining copyright permission from a company to make a game? If anyone has gone through the trouble of obtaining copyright permission, please share your story. I'm facing a situation and any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you Tom. I'll check out the thread.
In business every asset is for sale, you just need to make the right offer.

Make sure you are offering them something of value. Obviously the IP has significant value or you wouldn't want it. They need enough of an offer to convince them to give up property that they already hold. What are you offering that is worth losing a piece of valuable IP?

Generally that offer is a pile of money.

I think it will be tough negotiations with it's IP owners. They may want a pile of money and/or take a percentage from sales.
