I have a need to generate sprites from 100''s of 3d models, each at 32 different rotations and 4 different scales. What 3d modeler/renderer would be best for this task? My first thought was to write scripts for PovRay, which would be just fine with me, but I don''t know any modelers which export to PovRay. I guess I just need a modeler with a scriptable interface. Any hints? Thanks...

3DS MAX has a good scripting interface, but it''s a bit expensive...
