Hello, I've got a question on "how they did it".
In many games, there are things (spells, markers, etc) which are layed over the terrain. Now I would like to know how to do that. I tried to implement that with projective textureing, but it didn't turn out quiet well. If you have a clue how other games handle this, I would really apprechiate your answer.
If it's all about projective textureing and I just screwed up on it, you may could point me into the right direction ... what kind of projMatrix, etc.
