Smartphones have 250'000 patents

In my other topic I was talking about iPhone and it was locked. So to clarify this: In german N-TV they were
clearly talking about Apple, but I cannot refind it online. The only thing I found, was those below saying generally smartphones to
contain that much patents:

My personal opinion on such is that essential patent has gone insane.-

It was probably locked because you just posted a link in an attempt to start a discussion about how screwed up the patent system is... in a forum not about patents.

On topic - how many patents do you rekon are used by the hardware in your desktop PC, or the software/OS running on it?
