I just replied to this thread and didn't realize until after I posted that it was tagged as Java. It shows [Java] in the titlebar (which I never read anyway), but on the page itself "Java" is never mentioned. Could we get the tags to be shown with/below/nearby the thread title?
On an unrelated note, when I created this topic it was automatically tagged as CSI... what is that, and why?
This is a bug? I'm sure I recall tags and prefixes being shown in the thread view.
Oh did you remove the CSI tag? I didn't see it here so I thought tags in the thread was broken but I see it works in other threads and the CSI tag is gone. It's just prefix tags that aren't showing up in the thread view

Is it a bug? On that thread (and others) I see no tags (except, as I said, in the page title under html/head/title in the HTML, but nowhere on the actual page)...

Yeah, I edited the thread after I posted and removed the CSI tag. Here's a screenshot of what it was like:

Your wish is my command! However, I would like to see tagging like [CSI] mandatory for this forum as we move to an approach where tagging is extremely important (and you can do stuff like subscribe to tags).

Actually, just a request for tags as they become more important: can we get descriptions with tags, like StackOverflow has? It'd be nice if, when I mouse-overed the CSI tag, a little pop-up said "Comments, Suggestions, and Ideas" (and maybe added any additional notes that might be relevant, like StackOverflow does).

You read my mind. ;) We're working on this right now. ALL tags will have popup tooltips that allow you to "follow" a tag. Then each tag page will be a central hub of sorts for that tag. We've wanted to do this for years but we haven't really been in a position to do it.
