Can someone tell me what the following instruction does?

dp3 r1,t1_bx2,v0_bx2

dp3 means doing a dot point on the xyz values of t1_bx2 and v0_bx2,and the result is saved in r1

What I don't understand is what that _bx2 is for? What does it do the t1 and v0?
