making a 3d stage for a fighting game in maya it has to go into xna, wondering how much work i can do effects wise in maya that will translate into xna, or are all the effects handled by something else?

What's an effect? How do you import your stage in Xna?

i mean like lighting and fire etc, ive not used xna its for someone else to code with, im not sure how much i can do for it in maya
