I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I think this will interest some of you. There's a proposal for a StackExchange site (i.e. Stackoverflow sister) which deals with computer graphics programming. Not just gamedev related, but also including stuff like scientific visualization, visual FX, etc.
The site is in "commitment" phase right now, i.e. it's looking for users who commit to participating in a public beta test of the site. You can join and accelerate the start of the beta (it's about halfway there).
I have pretty high hopes for such a site. The existing gamedev stackexchange is too broad for computer graphics, and as such (similar to other places like this forum) doesn't manage to attract more than maybe a handful of actual computer graphics experts. Since the scope of computer graphics programming in general is quite a bit wider than gamedev graphics, I think a Q&A site like that has great potential to become a great learning resource with many experts involved, and quite some potential for cross-field knowledge exchange.
What do you think about it?
