Good keyword "higher" education. That is what I prefer to refer to college as.

But what makes it higher? Certainly the cost is higher, but nowadays higher education can be accessed right from your tablet for free.

What happens when the colleges themselves fail to produce people who think and reason at these "higher" levels?

In many fields, the "higher" education attainable by attending a college is lower than the education that can be had by just getting a copy of Photoshop and practicing the craft.

I also think that the way doctors are refered to as "practicing" medicine is spot on.

In any field, I think that it is a practice, not just something you are automatically qualified for because you have a diploma.

They call me the Tutorial Doctor.

for example, If in a town was a very capable surgeon, His assisting a terible nun .... I would preferably pick a leather and fur producing modeling mastress productres !. She would create a very comforatble sealing wounds upon patients. The best possible possible. Even if she was a retarder sick little affected girl society would like to protect from... she would be the best!

like (mister pudlik, there sems to be ill skin here!) (pudlik - what?!) (look!) (this is inproper skin! he is sick!) (now wait)

......... ok sister, deal with it...... it ends like this, and sis will save your ass, just becouse she is experienced fur and leather producer

Now show me a silly who can do this out of an university?

Surgeon pudlik will be desperate of not kjnowing how to help his patient, and his health terrible mosntrous sister will be the last to save you!

I dunno whether google translate isn't working for you or you're just taking too many drugs, but I have no idea what you are trying to say.

if you think programming is like sex, you probably haven't done much of either.-------------- - capn_midnight

I was trying to say that there are not only skills, along with knowledge, needed, but also a particular individual preferences and characteristics for a wide variety of jobs.

There are actualy too many jobs I would suck big at, and others I am sure too, no matter what we learn.

And yes, I drunk a good vodka and missed the gamedev.
