GameDev,

My name is Andrew, and I used to run the website devfactor.net which saw ~2 million visitors per year for our programming tutorials.

I've since become very interested in video as a creative medium, and I've forwarded all of my traffic to my YouTube where I wil be re editing and uploading VIDEO versions of all of our 100+ tutorials on programming and game development.

But wait, there is more!

I asked around, and reddit /r/gamedev was also very interested in a Java game development tutorial series. So I'm building a series from scratch, and I'll be transcribing it into a PDF and relasing all of the source code for free!

I'll also probably release some of my other projects as open source on the channel (mostly games, bots, android apps).

If this interests you, I'd love to get a larger audience. Everything is totally free, and I'm only doing it because I want to give back.

You can sub to us here for videos: https://www.youtube.com/devfactor

Or here for a 1x/mo update: http://www.devfactor.io

I'd love any feedback you guys have on the content so far! I've only been publishing videos for 1 month, but I think I'm learning quickly!

tl;dr https://www.youtube.com/devfactor OR http://www.devfactor.io for free Java game dev tutorials and source code.

Feel free to share this post if you think your friends could benefit from it smile.png

Cheers,

Andrew
