I think that maybe we should compile a forum FAQ''s for each of the high volume forums, much in the same way some newgroups have FAQs. Then we could link directly to the FAQ from the forum page, right next to the new post button. While we''re supposed to check to see if the question has already been asked in the forum, I think it might be easier for some people to see a precompiled list. Considering sometimes the number of posts that pile up in general programming, it''s sometimes hard to find something when you *know* it''s there. For example: The general programming FAQ could have a comparison of arrays versus linked lists, common link time errors, and a set of links to newbie tutorials. Not to the dreaded comparison of programming languages.
