I''m new to OpenGL and I have a question. How can i import a 3D Studio Max file into OpenGL? Can I import a animated character into OpenGL? Thanks

NEHE tutorial 32

This tutorial is written with Milkshape3D models in mind but the general method applies to 3DMAX as well. Look at wotsig for a description of the file format.

Don''t even think about reading the .max format. Forget it. You''ll need to export your models to .3ds or .ase, or use your own exporter plugin.

You probably want to export to .ase, its in a text format so its allot easier to figure out whats going on.
