Hi,

I want to know which minimum Mac and iPhone I can get which will still run the latest xCode and iOs versions.

I haven't developed anything on the app store since 2010.

I have not used a mac since then as well.

I would like to publish an existing VR unity app (also) on iPhone.

I wanted to know what is the cheapest reasonable setup I should get for this?

Does xCode have any special requirements to run the latest version?

What is the cheapest iPhone model which runs the latest iOS? (what is the latest iOs :-) )

What Laptop/Mac-mini can still run the latest mac software.

I haven't decided if I want a laptop or a mini yet. so would like a recommendation for both

I don't need anything too performant, I do all my dev work on a PC, I just want a baseline machine which can also compile and run it on iPhone.

My Oculus Rift Game: RaiderV

My Android VR games: Time-Rider& Dozer Driver

My browser game: Vitrage - A game of stained glass

My android games : Enemies of the Crown & Killer Bees

Sierra does not support all MacPro towers, so avoid those.

The bottom of this page lists iOS devices that support the latest iOS version.

The iOS device must have an A7 chip or later to run Metal, which you will want. Your best bet is to save money on the Mac OS X device and get an iPhone 6.
