My scenes look fine in 3d studio Max R3, they look fine in 3d Explorer when exported as a .3ds but once I convert them with the conv3ds.exe convertor that micro$oft provides with the DirectX SDK 3 objects loose their bitmap coordinates. I have done a text dump of what happens during conversion and the bitmap coordinates and the associated bitmaps are not listed. These are the paramaters specified by my programmers:
conv3ds.exe -m -N xfile.3ds.
I''d like to hear from other developers that have run into this and find out how they worked around it. Any information that I recieve would be greatly appreciated.
