Do you think a publisher would be more interested in signing with a dev team if the dev team had a working GBA game on a flash ROM or would they not like the fact that you used something that nintendo doesn''t sanction? thanx for listening,
Heres my two cents, where's my reciept!

If you have a game that works on the gba and it looks like it will sell a good amount of copies, by all means submit it to a publisher. They''ll get you licensed if they want to publish the game.
thats what i would think but i read on gamedev.net somewhere that nintendo doesn''t like developers using those third-party tools.
Heres my two cents, where's my reciept!
Hi the_nemesis I am a hobby\soon to be licensed GBA programmer anyway it doesnt matter most of the time if nintendo is upset becuase its mostly 3rd party developers that make games for GBA. You can also get noticed by licensed developer teams by making demos and posting on a site like WWW.GBADEV.ORG and WWW.DEVRS.COM\GBA. Thats how I got my current job offer.

Hi,
Would it work if u just sent them a ROM without any cart? That couldm''t annoy nintendo could it?
N. Boulton
no, I wouldn''t think it would but it would annoy the publisher. the harder it is for them to view the game (these are mostly business people mind you) the less likely it is that the will look at it.
Heres my two cents, where's my reciept!
