info about beam trees
Hi there,
THe most important thing about beamtrees is that you do what you need. There are so many different versions on the beamtree algorithm that one tutorial cannot cover them all.
Think about using a bsp tree to cull what portions are invisible and what are visible, and you're done.
But you can do randomized insertion, front to back, you can only insert the beams or insert the polies itself too.
There is not one solution. Take a bsptree and a camera and get creative.
