How would I go about setting the monitor''s refresh rate in DirectDraw? I tried setting the variable in SetDisplayMode() to no avail. Any suggestions? - mallen22@concentric.net

You really shouldn''t be playing with refresh rates. Many moniters these days will not change their refresh rate, mine is stuck on 85hz. I can''t use directdraw to change it, every time I try I will get an error back.

So unless your making a game for only one computer you shouldn''t get dependant on refresh rates.

One person said that the games industry is "a transfer of funds from the rich to the lucky"
