This game project was originally a test application for the DeeNGINE engine. But in the development process, I was so carried away that the test application grew into something more. I decided to work on the project and get a finished game as a result. I leave the source code open. The project uses graphics and sound taken from free sources. The music track is licensed and belongs to the licensor. I solemnly swear in subsequent assemblies to get rid of this track and replace it with a track from free sources or written by someone specially for the project. The same goes for graphic content and sound — if possible, everything will be replaced with your own content.

The goal of the game is to kill more zombies than the bots do. Bots have different accuracy and distance of attack.

Control:

The left / right (or A / D) keys are the rotation.

The up key (or W) is to go.

Shift + go - run.

Spacebar - shoot.

Service keys (cheats   :))

F1 - Reset the game

F2 - reset the game with preserving the achievements of the player

F3 - increase the maximum number of zombies

F4 - increase weapon power

F5 - through bullets

F9 - camera switching (player - bots)

F11 - spawning all zombies at once

I began development of new game technology (is not know-how, but...). XAPP - this is a run-time platform (planned as cross-platform). XAPP attaching Sources Interpreter Engine (SEE) modules and running sources. I make small version of basic - XiBASIC.

 

Now, I continue developing and updating my engine, platform and SEE XiBASIC. Over one or two weeks I'll release a powerful XiBASIC and some new features.

 

In next time I planed some lead features:

- crossing on Linux (Ubuntu 100%), MaxOS X;

- crossing on Android and WM 5.0 - 6.5 (7+ may be too)

- 3D features (from basic functionals to powerful)

- internet communications

- integration with internet browsers for running games without downloads (as flash games)

 

Current features of XAPP:

- print at console (overlayer of graphic)

- load and draw sprites with rotation and frames (support textures with resolutions 2^n. Supported extentions depended by DIPI plugins - see plugins folder into package)

- load and playback sound and tracker

- key scan

 

Current features of XiBASIC:

- one letter for variables from A to Z

- FOR/NEXT from lower to upper value without step various with included cycles

- IF/THEN with "<", ">" and "=". NOT SUPPORT "<=", ">=" and "<>". NO LOGICAL "AND", "OR", "NOT", "XOR"...

- GOTO

- GOSUB/RETURN
