I am a combination of (programmer / artist) using primarily (C++ / openGL) and (Blender / zBrush / Photoshop).
My experience include Unity and UDK but I mostly enjoy roll your own solutions.
Today, I'm knee deep into MonoGame.
With that said, I'll admit I'm a hardcore hobbyist, while my day job is owner/operator of a steel fabrication corporation. When it comes to light that game making results in better compensation, I'll be all over it.
I certainly would not say no to some interesting side contracts.
