WOA2: Down to the Wire

We are merging all of our files now and making the final changes to the scene. With only a few hours left this is really cutting it close. We have something already in place but we are simply trying to add in that last bit of polish. This is going to be a very close thing.... I will keep you guys posted! As of right now the things to do:

  • Add the ability to store items to the "stash"
  • Calculate the score of a player based off of items in stash
  • Add values to the items via the stash
  • Add in help menu
  • [s]Add in block'ers for the physics edges of the game[/s]
  • [s]Tie/Hook in all the levels (not all work for something, farm is pretty much the only one)[/s]
  • [s]Add in particle effects for sparks[/s]
  • [s]Add in particle effects for seeds[/s]
  • Setup the Music game object so there is music
  • Add ability to kick the cat....

1850 PST:


Only a few more hours left, and still a few hefty things to add in... this is going to be damn close. We are having an issue with the clock and time of day, which more or less runs all of the scoring. We can run this without the scoring but it makes the game more or less a sandbox of cool things to look at rather than a game with a score. So, yeah.... we feeling the pressure. Most of the art has been done for 2 hours now so I have been sitting here helping goss where needed. I did, however, make a new decal that you will see in the video I am about to link. I created some nifty particle systems and more or less have been fiddling with other things! In the mean time here is a video to tease you!

If you had left out kicking the cat feature I would have to do a mod and plugin Wiredcat for the kicking.
