Just experimenting

Just disabled the WYSIWYG editor and just updating to see if this is a bit easier to use.

:) :(

My website. Find it easier to type these manually than use that horrendous link drop down thing.

Not too sure what all that meant. But manual img tags are okay then.

Quote tags are the same then.

That should have been a media tag, which is a bit step forward if it works.

Okay, so going to post to see what this all looks like.

[EDIT] Okay, so lots of improvements here then from the old site which is nice to see. A lot of the BBcode tags are easier to use than the old HTMLs they've replaced and the media tag is an excellent addition.

I have to say I personally prefer typing the tags manually - maybe I'm just being l33t but I don't really dig all the icons at the top. I guess the emoticon list is handy for anyone that uses these extensively but happy and sad are fine for me. I'd personally prefer the emoticons to be BBcode tags so that we don't get problems with a colon in brackets (:) but minor nitpick.

[EDIT] Yay, and the << turning into HTML codes error when editing is no more!
