Jacki and I had a hugely productive weekend; and the Static: Investigator Training Demo is almost finished; you can expect to find it on www.staticgame.com this week.

Hunkering Down:

So in an effort to keep development smooth through Static: IT and into Morning's Wrath 2; Jacki and I have moved our desktop machines (which are more powerful than our laptops) out of our respective home offices and into the living room, so that we can work together smoothly. We shopped around for some intern desks, but found the prices to be a little excessive for our needs; so... a short trip to home depot found us set up with two desk-sized pieces of MDF and four plastic saw-horses; it was makeshift garage-ingenuity at it's best; we saved a bundle and the "desks" come apart and store easily, and the components are useful on their own.

All-told we're using four machines to develop Static:IT both our desktops and our laptops. When we continue renovating the house next year my office will definitely be set up for multi-developer in mind; the value of sitting next to the co-developer of the game and keeping communication easy and fast is huge.

Anyhow, back to the grind! With luck we should have another Static: Crunch-Time video Wednesday-ish :D

Can't wait to see what the Selenite engine's games look like in action. I've been enjoying the video blogs on edigames.com and the static homepage. Cant wait to see how this IP works out for ya Raymundo.

So far it's gotten great reception with testers; they really seem to like the style and gameplay; with any luck it's a big win for EDIGames;

so proud of my wife for designing the story and directing it :D
