So far, several of my games projects are all action games such as ‘Starboost EX‘, ‘There is no tomorrow‘, ‘All of ZHEM’ & ‘Legend of the assassin’.
For my future games, I am planning to focus on non-action types such as puzzle & story driven creative games. I learned that making action games is really not easy & time consuming because those games depend heavily on the game mechanics. It is extremely easy to get lots of bugs, for example if you jump during a attack, you will need to disable the attack before you jump and sometimes multiple weird bugs will appear. The programming will get heavier and heavier eventually.
I still have a idea for one action game but I am going to leave it to the future. Right now I am learning more on making bigger world games and I still have to finish up my projects before taking up new ones..
