MH: Gaming Website (MH) Brief description: Mangahunter is a gaming/anime website that updated daily with news/previews/reviews. Our forum has reach 200 members and about 7000 Posts all in happened in 20 Days. Basically 200 members from Gamedev and Deviantart.com have joined up to build of the fastest growing communities. We are allowing designers to set up shops too! Some of our topics are: Game development -Design -Game Ideas -Programming -Writing. Talent needed: 1. MH is looking for young people who will help us make this forum come to life, basically what is known as "paid posting". Every post you make you will get paid for, and in the same time you will be part of MH. 2. MH is looking for young people who will help us encourage our visitors to comment on our latest news/previews/reviews. 3. MH is looking for writers, to publish review / previews / news on main site Compensation: This is a Paid job/position. Payment will be via Western To know more details about payout/amount paid per post/comment. Yes this is a paid job, nothing is for free! Hey I just thought I should say, I am currently posting forum and I AM indeed getting paid. I've even gotten paid for referrals.

I recommend doing this, it's reliable and MH is a good payer. I'm also on this... "training" position to be writing for him as well. If you want easy cash, this is the place to go.

If you're broke, or even underage, and need at least even small funding for a game, this is the place to go.

And if you do register you should put me as your referral! :P

And no, this isn't a big corporation. It's a small forum. You can even chat with the big old MH Boss on MSN. This is still a fairly new forum, it's a pretty good community too. You don't know what you're missing out on.

Hello Shaloub! I was interested in joining your website as a writer. I am trying to find work that is related to the Video Game industry. I am a senior at Westwood College in the Video Game Art and Design program and I love to write reviews and previews. I have published over 30 articles with Demand Studios but I am trying to move more into writing about video games. I love Anime too so this would be a ton of fun! Their are some things i need to clear up after the email i just got sent my way.

All the email mentions is the pay and posting on forums it never mentions anything about the writing job i wnated in the first place, whys this?

and secondly, i don't quite understand the Western Union way they use to pay, i am not american(uk) but the email only states its pay is in us cent, how will this work out? and do i just have to sign up to WU then i will automatically get paid?

I just wanted to say that this post made me laugh out loud. No offense intended or anything, it's just that that email address is really funny to me right now. I'm sure you have a more professional one you share or will share with real employers, but that post reads like one of those career development classes' examples of how to not get an interview. Professional right up until the last word.

Last time we talked you wrote review writer positions were filled and only paid forum posting positions were still available. Has the situation changed?

What about payment, do you offer paypal payment as well or only WU?

Yep things have changed.

We now have 10 active writers, and we need more. (Budget increased)

Are you interested in such reviews, or only accept content about new games? I have a great experience with older games so would be able to write many reviews in that category.

Also can you write a list of subjects we can write about? Or at least general outline of what you are interested in (and are paying for)?

I'm a poster on Manga Hunter and I have already gotten paid. Manga Hunter is legitimate and very fair. Though I really need to get myself in gear, I am also on the training list along with Andershizzle to become a writer. The community is generally really good, and MH is really trustworthy. I really recommend you go if you're young and looking for some form of payment in exchange for work.

Yes we do in fact have a retro section in MH.
I'll be sending out new emails shortly the people who replied to the thread.

Your English is atrocious and it is hard to take you seriously. I get the vibe that you are highly intelligent, but you don't pay attention to what you write, or at least review what you've written. Any interest in your ad dissipated after noticing... "Our forum has reach 200 members."- reached, "about 7000 Posts all in happened in 20 Days"- I don't even know what to make of that, "have joined to build of the fastest"- one of the fastest. If you want to be taken seriously by the more experienced and quality writers, then you need to be more professional. Otherwise, you will get back only what you put out, which is writers who make the same mistakes that you have made grammatically etc.

Not intended to hurt your feelings, but simply as a future reference.
