THis is a list of all things that suck. I have decided to compile this list since I have nothing better to do. So these things, people, places, bands, etc all SUCK. 1. You 2. Me 3. Life 4. Ha! Interesting Note; When the Japanese govt. decided more time in school should be spent teach English, they were trying to figure out what other studies would be replaced. One idea that came up was to make cuts in the time used to teach Math, like PI being shortened to 3. While this idea persisted for a while on the board, it was eventually dropped, but it existed for a short time non the less.

Apparently there has been a huge jump in the number of Ontario
students attending east coast universities this year because of the elimination of grade 13.

Grade 13, or OAC as it was also called was part of the Ontario school system that was like optional advanced level courses that were designed to help increase your chances of getting into a university.

Grade 13 was the year of high school that came after grade 12. Most of the people planning on going to university called it OAC, which stood for something I forgot. The Ontario government, in its efforts to improve education, got rid of grade 13. Obviously there is going to be a year where all the grade 13 and grade 12 students graduate at the same time. That year happens to be this year, and they called it the "double cohort" (#92). Twice as many graduates means more university applicants which means its more competitive to get into a university (or people apply to a university farther away that hasnt been swamped with applicants).
