Gateway to Destiny Software is a new independent game development group, and we're getting ready to release our first complete game, called KingMe!. KingMe! is essentially a checkers hybrid, but with a few rule twists and animated game pieces. The final release version is nearly ready, but the beta (ver .99) is currently available for download. We are extremely interested in comments from the gaming and game programming community.
The GTD website currently doesn't offer much more than the beta game and some glimpses of KingMe! future releases. In the future we'll be offering more games, as well as resources geared specifically for beginning and intermediate-level game programmers. Content will be updated regularly. The web page itself will be undergoing quite a makeover. Our immediate concern was to get the game out for gamer perusal. So please, download it at Gateway to Destiny and let us know what you think.
