I don''t post here here much but I have been a menmber for almosste2 yeares... I''m asking, no sorry begging for help. I''m haveng a VERY hard time givein up (i;mm drunk now). thies might siund rely stupid but I just bneed some people to tell me I can do it ( go with outh drink). I''m upsettingin gmy friends (one was in tears tonight cus I hit the bottle again) my aretns are woried as well. and moreto the point I can''t work on my engine when I''m drunk

Hey man, if you are serious asking anyone for help is the right first step. If you are a religious person consult with your priest (or equivalent); if not find your most trusted and valued friend and ask them for help. Unfortunately this is an issue you need someone there physically to help you with.

I realky do apreate any adviced /help youo can give but my most tusted frioed ( and my only friends, due toi drinking) is about ot be kicked out of her home, has no job and suffering from VERY bad midical stess( hence why I''m, askingfor hekp here)and I do belive in god but I don''t signe up to any religon

this is my last resort, I''v lost all of my driends, Im on the last week of my job befor I leve. thies is all dur to drink and you you cant thelp a felow humand beeing try and drag him slefl from the gutter then fuck ypou all! ( except ChaoticCanuck who has made the onluy helpful post)

I have millions and zillions of problems, but that doesn''t mean posting them like that ... you first have to fight it yourself then ask for help ... and also not in a bazaar way like this ... and also not "ordering" people to help you and swearing at them ...

I should think that by the time all that crap has happened to you, if you haven''t given up by now you never will. Why is this place better than AA? Have you actually gone to AA?

If you are seriously in that dire of straights go destroy the alcohol you have left. Sober up, then take a walk to the nearest church. Tell the priest that you need someone to help you.

It has been my experience that when you need help the only thing you need do is ask; You don''t need to worry about denomination or even how strong your faith is. The majority of people who have dedicated their lives to teaching the word of God are willing to help in any way they can.

For those of you who don''t understand why someone would come to a place as hostile as this forum for assistance you probably have not watched someone self destruct before. When someone is desperate they will pursue any means necessary to find help. The fact that you would mock or take amusement from the situation is an indicator of how screwed up western society is.

This may not be the correct time or place, but at least show a little humanity.

and yes I have gone to an AA metting, it''sd it was full opf people talking about how they have 2 glases of wine a night becasue fo the rhorbila wife who earns £$41,000 a year and wont give give them £ 600 a wekk to sepnd
