(I admit I'm not much of an exotic car buff. Although I am a fan of novelty fibreglass things...)

Holy! That thing has a special key which lowers it closer to the ground and retracts its rear spoiler for high speed driving. That blew my mind. The thing that gets me about that car is that apparently Bugatti lose something like $3 million for each car made. This car was essentially built to see if they could do it! Gotta love that...

Someone parked one of those across the street from my office building last summer. I went downstairs to get a sandwich from the deli, and everyone in the deli (including workers) were lined up against the windows talking about the car. A few minutes later, a guy who looked about 28 came out of the art gallery across the street with his, erm, augmented girlfriend and drove away in it.

We all then cleaned the drool off our chins and got back to eating sandwiches :-)

The only bad point is it looks a bit like a BMW Z4. Which is a good car, but the Z4 cost £30K. The SLR is almost exactly TEN TIMES that much... it's a proper supercar really.

Of all the cars mentioned thus far, I think the Lamborghini Murcielago looks the coolest. The Veyron wouldn't be available at an exotic car rental place, so I'd try to rent the Lambo!
