Team name: Optic-Gaming Brief description: The goal of Optic-Gaming is, simply put, education. The team is created for the purpose of teaching each other the C# using XNA. We will begin this goal by starting out with small 2D projects (Pong, Tetris, Breakout, and then a Platformer), and then we will move into 3D. Target aim: Building up personal portfolios and educating individuals as well as myself. Compensation: There will be no compensation. Technology: Programming: Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express or Pro edition XNA Game Studio 3.0 2D Graphics: Adobe Photoshop CS3/CS4 ( whichever version you prefer ) Music/SFX Artist: Whichever program you prefer. Whichever instruments you would like to use :-). Talent needed: XNA Programmers - we will need members with a SOMEWHAT knowledge of XNA and C# programming. Yes, the purpose of this team is to train our programmers, but at the same time we would like to have our trainees to have a little wet feet before diving into the ocean. 2D Graphic Artists - we are in a major need of 2D artists. These guys that are really skilled in creating sprites, tiles, and the like are really hard to find (that work for free, anyways). We do not expect extremely high quality sprites if you are not up to that quite yet, but again, this is what the team is here for.. to train! *IN NEED OF A GRAPHIC TEAM LEADER* Music/SFX Artists - we desperatly need music for our programs. Without any music or sound effects, what kind of game IS it!? Again, you guys are really hard to find as well, and yet again, you are not required to make thirty minute crazy sound tracks with solo’s that Slash himself couldn’t accomplish.
