nehe got the demos up, so you now have no excuse to be here, go! download download download!

[edit] seems nehe is in the middle of uploading them.. might be another 20min till they are all online [edit2] as I write this the last is being uploaded by nehe (code hasn't though) I'll rezip them as a single zip and upload it for others... saves downloading 24! zips [edit3] ohh well, my personal ftp isn't responding.. so no mass uploading of all the demos in one zip... at least for now... | - Project-X - my mega project.. yup, still cracking along

ok.. if you want to download all the demos in one zip, I''ve put them up herer.

So far, they all look very impressive. Some are very colourful, some are very fast, some are, well, a bit repeditive.. and I even saw some porn in one... (I think) which is a bit crazy... but ohh well... still more to see, all looks pretty awesome!

I''ve seen about 10 of them and I must say WOW. Some *realy* great work. At least 2 of them are just demoscene quality. Awesome!

hehe. sorry mirko, you don't win in my book. Your demo hangs my machine half way though (as does quins)...

Wow, great stuff,.... and Wow, i''m gonna loose

I thought Andreas Hammar''s one was great...... Yuval Sarna''s entry has very natural (if somewhat jittery at times) camera movement....

btw: i think it''s time to end this whole quasi-philosophical-text craze,..

Well I havnt had the time to d/l any of the other demos but from a quick look on the screenies some of em look awsome! I dont think mine stands a chance of doing very well .....

Mind you, its the first time I have tried to do anything like this so im not totaly displeased! Im still proud of my demo!

Its gonna be a toughy for NeHe. About 6 have the potiential to be in the top 3.

Four demos had the cube scene

Only two had metaballs, I was surprised.

A couple didn''t run on my Voodoo3.

Did SuperStars keep flashing for you guys? Single-buffering?

My demo, "Fudo Style", was music-synced on my comp but I''m worried it wont be on others. Was it?

I don''t know if it was your demo, but one of them was synced with music. Very nice!

I haven''t looked at the demos who didn''t run in windowed mode yet. I''m at work and I''m trying to run them windowed in one of the corners of my screen =) not fullscreen on my 21 inch, when my boss walks by!

I''ve been very impressed by the demos I''ve seen so far!

if anyone who has downloaded all of them has a minute, can you give me a list of all the demos that should (theoretically) work on linux? I don''t want to download windows demos on my poor modem

I''m impressed! The demos were great! But there were two demos that didn''t run on my machine =(. the first was Mirko''s. The second, Peter Wallstrom''s demo, started up, and began playing music, but I was just sitting staring at a black screen! I was going to send in a demo too, but I wasn''t finished in time =(... But maybe next time.

Great work on the demos!
