Open any explorer window, then from your View pulldown, select Options... a dialog should come up with a File Types tab, which maps extensions to the apps you want to use on them.

You how when you try to open strange file types in windows (such as .c .cpp, etc...) Windows asks you what program you would like to use to open them with?

Well after you set that program (I accidently kept the box checked) how do you change it later?

Thanks

An alternative to this is you can right-click while holding shift on the file in Explorer, and select the "Open with..." option. Then, select the program you want and make sure the "Always open files of this type with this program" box is checked. Of course, if you want to change the icon or description, you have to do it Mason's way.
