As things stand, when we are dealing with a troll, moderators' abilities are limited. We can lock the troll's threads, but that doesn't stop the trolling. We can flag the troll as a spammer, but that removes any possibly useful discussions the troll posted. A way of suspending a troll's posting ability would be very helpful and would improve the atmosphere on the forums.

I closed the report, since now the request has been posted here. That red flag was starting to bug me. Edit: actually, I marked the report “under review.”
