Space strategy games!

Any ideas on good games in the space strategy genre. With this I mean games like Pax Imperia/Pax Imperia 2, Ascendancy and Imperium Galactica, with multiplayer support.
I´m crazy about these games and love playing them with friends so I would be very glad if you could recommend some titles.

Well although homeworld is good it´s not more than a space starcraft if you see my point

MOO3 should be out soon. Looks pretty good too.

imo Homeworld is much more than a 3d-Starcraft... it allows for a far greater amount of strategy.
The games to watch out for in the next time will be MOO3 (although there haven´t been many news in the last few months) and IG3... which I can´t say much about, although the demo looks pretty good.
