Bump/Specular performance

Hi If I use bump/specular maps on say one small object on screen, and not on any of the other objects will this be much faster than if I use it on all objects? I only really need it on a few objects, but don''t wan''t to much of a performance hit. (Of course only GF3-4 an other new cards will be able to show them). /Andreas

Yes, itll be much faster, as you only have to apply the advanced techniques to a small number of polygons, instead of applying it to a large number of them.
