[size="2"]I like the Walrus best.
Really cute characters. They''d make good pieces for board and/or puzzle games.

(my byline from the Gamedev Collection series, which I co-edited) John Hattan has been working steadily in the casual game-space since the TRS-80 days and professionally since 1990. After seeing his small-format games turned down for what turned out to be Tandy's last PC release, he took them independent, eventually releasing them as several discount game-packs through a couple of publishers. The packs are actually still available on store-shelves, although you'll need a keen eye to find them nowadays. He continues to work in the casual game-space as an independent developer, largely working on games in Flash for his website, The Code Zone (www.thecodezone.com). His current scheme is to distribute his games virally on various web-portals and widget platforms. In addition, John writes weekly product reviews and blogs (over ten years old) for www.gamedev.net from his home office where he lives with his wife and daughter in their home in the woods near Lake Grapevine in Texas.

Looks good.

It looks like a mix of worms and the simpsons! which is good i guess.
That is a great looking game. I think that it''s gonna be something big. Though, with a little more texturing, it could look even better. Good job, keep it up.

The Blobs look pretty cool. One thing I would suggest is to vary the size of them instead of just the textures and hair; i.e., width, height, eyeball size, etc. I agree that they look like a cross between the Simpsons and worms, but again, they need some other variation. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing how your game progresses.

I really like the characters, but I have one gripe: the characters'' textures look really flat (which can be good), while the background textures look like they are trying to be detailed. I wouldn''t recommend making everything flat, or even close to flat (have you seen how bad looking the Simpsons'' line of video games is?) but the blobs kinda look out of place... It''s just the floors, really. The buildings and clouds fit, but the floor looks over-pixelated. I don''t know what to do about that... Maybe make the floors flat, and keep everything else the same? How do you draw the ground in your comics?

Otherwise, it looks like it would be very fun to play. I can just imagine a world with all these blobs bouncing and crawling all over the place. But what about bad guys? I wouldn''t want to point a tank cannon at one of those cute little buggers. I''d feel kinda guilty knowing that inside that pile of buring metal is a dying blob of some sort, whether good or evil. Maybe make a new type of character altogether, something bigger and uglier than the blobs, to be the antagonists. Maybe the blobs have been enslaved by aliens and need a hero to liberate them?
I can imagine a world without hate, a world without fear, a world without war. And I can imagine us attacking that world, because they would never expect it. -Jack Handy
I''ve been reading your comics, and maybe you don''t need antagonists. The blobs seem to be destroying themselves! Poor guys...

btw: Do you know anything about particle systems? You could have some fun making the blobs splat all over the place when they get hit, like in your comics. I could do it if you were writting it in C++, but I don''t know anything about 3DGameStudio.

hehe thx for all the feedback!
but i know wot u mean about the textures being too detailed, but the shot with them all lined up is just a room i made to stick models in to picture and look at, the gfx around them is nothing to do with anything really.
If anyone who hasn''t, try reading my comics, maybe u will get an idea of how they all work if u get me. There are other enemies other than themselves, other alien races from around their corner of the universe have invaded their planets a few times, so theres always another type of bad guy out there!
